My name is Sydney and I am a senior at Seabreeze High School. I work at an ice cream shop, which is always exciting. I love animals and learning about cars. Growing up in Ormond Beach has always been fun, but I was actually born in Connecticut. I’ve traveled Europe and been to Canada! I just love experiencing different parts of the world and being able to encourage others to help out, especially with wildlife.
Children's Poem
Trash is Not fun
By: Sydney Flannery
If my pet sea turtle could talk
she would welcome you with joy
and tell you about all the fun things
or all her fun toys.
She loves to swim free in the ocean
playing with her pals
but she wants to warn about keeping the beach clean
and also the canals.
For trash is not a fun toy
and can hurt her beautiful shell
pollution is not good for the water
or for her friends as well.
She asks you to please protect the ocean
and throw all your garbage away
so my pet sea turtle
can safely go and play.
All the animals will thank you
and love your kind heart
if you keep the world fresh
and clean up your part.
